Thank You?!?!?!?!?!?

Okay, i feel that if i don't say something now, i might have to wait to say it later. It's the phrase "thank you." That's it. "Thank you." but when said billions of times, it becomes annoying, yes? I bring chalupas to the front. "Thank you." I fry a box of taco shells. "Thank you." I get the okay to clock out, i walk away. "Thank you." It's my job! I do it because i'm paid to! You don't have to thank me!!! Damn...

Thank you for checking in. Godammit.

I worked for Taco Bell for 6 years. I started as a crew member and worked up to assistant restaurant manager. I stumbled upon this site by accident, but I must say that it is quite addictive!! I guess all Taco Bell's are the same. The names just change to protect the innocent!! I am from Indiana and I too could write a book about my Taco Bell days starting with orientation and ending with the last CER that I was priviliged to be a part of (ha,ha). Know all about those window times (our goal was 45 seconds at the window!). And the insane managers and crew members!! And the even more psychopathic guests!! But I would not trade the experience for any thing and it is fun to relive those moments through this blog! Thanx......

Just shut the fuck up and accept the thanks. It's called politeness; get used to it. I'm sorry that, in your line of work, not many assholes are willing to shout such an utterance whilst sitting on their fat asses in their car. But, when I say "thank you" I really mean it. Get the fuck over yourself and your fake "angst." If you really hate it, quit working in the food industry.

Okay guys, I'm new at T-bell. I have a whopping 20 hours under my belt, part time. It's cool so far, the employees are awesome, and the managers are hella cool.

I'm wondering how long it takes to learn what goes on what. I can steam pretty well already, but I fail at putting the cold goods on unless someone tells me what goes on what.

I enjoy making the food rather than doing all the other stuff, mostly because I like organizing things, in this case through burrito and taco making.

So what really gets me is that I have no idea how long it actually takes to learn what goes on what. I keep an open mind and don't worry about it much, but I am definitely curious.

I am so glad there is a taco bell in the - deerfoot outlet mall now. Working at the outlets is going to be so much better.
